On May 13, 2026, the ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) Minnesota Chapter hosted a chapter meeting at the University of Minnesota in recognition of Prof. Li’s ASHRAE New Investigator Award. As part of the event, Prof. Li delivered an award lecture introducing the Li Research Group’s current research activities on anti-icing coatings and CO2 separation membranes, followed by a tour of the group’s laboratory.
The event was well attended by ASHRAE Minnesota Chapter President Rolf Blom, representatives from Chapter Research Promotion, Chapter Technology Transfer, the Historical Committee, the Student Activities Committee, and the ASHRAE University of Minnesota Student Branch.
